About Inion Oy

Inion was established in 1999 and incorporated in 2000 in Tampere, Finland, by an internationally recognised team of experts both in surgery and from the medical device industry, bringing significant experience in device development, bioengineering, polymer technology, manufacturing, business development, product commercialisation and international sales and marketing.

Since then, industry experts from the US & EU have been recruited to form a powerful, well-rounded team with extensive sales, marketing and business development experience to facilitate rapid commercialisation from the strong R&D base.

Following a strategic review in 2006/07, Inion is focusing on spine and specialty orthopaedics (targeting foot and ankle, and injuries to the upper extremity, i.e. hand, wrist and elbow) in key international markets, primarily the USA and select markets in Europe and the Rest of the World.
