We are pleased to announce the latest addition to the Inion CompressOn™ instruments family: the Inion CompressOn™ Threaded K-wire designed to enhance control during orthopedic procedures through an enhanced retention mechanism.

For decades, K-wires have been a fundamental tool in orthopedic surgery, providing a versatile solution for fracture fixation, temporary stabilization, and implant guidance. While their simplicity has made them indispensable across a wide range of procedures, today’s surgical environment continues to drive the demand for technologies that further improve precision, workflow, and procedural confidence.

Developed with these evolving clinical needs in mind, Inion’s® new CompressOn™ Threaded K-wire incorporates a threaded tip designed to resist unintended backing out during insertion. By helping maintain secure engagement throughout the procedure, the design aims to support consistent control during wire advancement while reducing the need for repositioning or repeated insertion attempts.
