Anni Kivinen, Product Manager
Anni is our efficient, cheerful, and detail-oriented Product Manager. She is always ready to help colleagues and customers with a precise and proactive approach. She is responsible for ensuring product competitiveness through market insights, managing the product lifecycle, and translating customer and clinical needs into impactful, compliant medical solutions. You’re likely to meet Anni in hospitals, at international exhibitions or outdoors enjoying nature through canoeing, running, skiing, biking, or playing volleyball – just as long as she gets to stay active.
Harri Happonen, Product Management Director
If you know Inion, you know Harri as well. Harri, our Product Management Director and one of Inion’s founders, has been a key figure in the development and commercialization of bioabsorbable implants for over 25 years. He is responsible for driving product innovation, shaping strategic direction, and ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of surgeons and patients safely. You’ll meet Harri at different training events, exhibitions and sharing insights with customers. In his free time, Harri is likely outdoors exploring nature fishing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, or windsurfing on a near-by lake.
Armida Mattila, Account Manager
Armida is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our international distributors and hospitals. She ensures that each customer receives tailored support, expert guidance, and seamless access to Inion’s bioabsorbable solutions. Armida is known for her energetic, customer-first mindset and consistently professional, can-do attitude. You might meet Armida at our international and national events! In her free time, Armida recharges by lifting weights at the gym, enjoying long walks with their dog, and planning dream getaways to sunny tropical destinations. She is also passionate about dancing with a background in competitive ballroom Latin dancing.
Michael Lindroos, Sales Director
Michael, or “Micke”, our Sales Director, leads Inion’s global sales operations with a strong focus on building lasting partnerships and delivering value to healthcare professionals and distributors. With deep industry knowledge and a strategic mindset, he is committed to expanding Inion’s bioabsorbable solutions worldwide. You’re likely to meet Michael at international congresses, distributor meetings, or engaging with healthcare professionals in the field. In his free time, well, you might run into him just about anywhere. Whether it’s at a dancing event, climbing on Mount Everest, orienteering with his family, or at his favourite coffee shop working on his next book.
Nora Laaksonen, Sales Representative
Nora, our Sales Representative in Finland, is a familiar face in hospitals across the country. With her warm and friendly presence, Nora is always enthusiastic about meeting healthcare professionals, exchanging insights on bioabsorbable solutions, listening to their feedback, and providing hands-on support during initial operations. Outside the hospital setting, you might spot Nora cheering at junior basketball or hockey games or tending to her garden in the Turku area. She also has a strong background in figure skating, which is something that still shows in her determined approach to everything she does.
Sarianne Niemelä, Marketing Specialist
Sarianne is our energetic and positive Marketing Specialist, and has been an essential part of our team for over three years. She takes care of everything marketing-related with a sharp eye for detail, creative thinking, and a hands-on attitude. From campaigns and content to branding and digital visibility, Sarianne ensures our message reaches the right people in the right way. You’ll see her impact in everything we communicate. Known for her positivity, helpfulness, and top-notch work, Sarianne brings both expertise and joy to the workplace every day. Outside the office, Sarianne is an eager volleyball player who brings the same energy and team spirit to the court as she does to her work. She’s also enthusiastic about cross-country skiing and a passionate follower of just about any sport.
