Inion CPS™ screw picking and insertion demonstration video

See the Inion CPS™ Bioabsorbable Fixation System in action in this short demonstration of screw picking and insertion.

The video shows how an Inion CPS™ screw is picked up with the dedicated screwdriver and inserted into a CPS™ plate, providing a quick visual overview of the screw insertion process.

Step-by step instructions of the video:

  1. Drill a hole for the screw using the appropriate Inion CPS™ self-drilling bone tap corresponding to the screw diameter.
  2. Use a slow-speed power driver with a reverse function (speed of 150 to 300 rpm).
  3. Keep the drilling angle consistent throughout drilling to avoid enlargement of the hole.
  4. Pick up the Inion CPS™ screw from the screw ring using the Inion CPS™ screwdriver.
  5. Align the screwdriver gently with the screw head.
  6. Keep the screwdriver in a vertical position during picking.
  7. Turn the screwdriver until the screw begins to rotate with it.
  8. Carefully but firmly push the screwdriver into the screw head.
  9. The screw is now securely mounted on the screwdriver.
  10. Hold the screwdriver and screw parallel to the prepared drill hole.
  11. Insert the screw using a two-finger technique.
  12. When you feel increased resistance, turn a quarter turn further, then remove the screwdriver by tilting it.
  13. Do not overtighten the screw.
