About the Inion CPS™ System

The Inion CPS™ Bioabsorbable Fixation System is designed for craniomaxillofacial surgery and includes a selection of bioabsorbable plates, meshes and screws in different shapes and sizes.

The system is designed to provide fixation while the implants gradually resorb over time. Inion CPS™ implants are made from bioabsorbable copolymers and are available in 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm and 2.5 mm systems. The system is intended for a range of CMF applications, including fractures and osteotomies of the mandible, as well as orthognathic and reconstructive procedures.

Screw cutting for BSSO fixation

The screw-cutting technique provides a practical approach to screw length selection. Using one screw size, the screw can be cut to the required length based on the measured fixation depth and then prepared for insertion.
